Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize purchasing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
– Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure high quality and sustainable sourcing of materials.
– Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring favourable terms and conditions aligned with organizational goals.
– Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand material needs and forecast procurement requirements.
– Monitor and assess supplier performance, addressing any issues and ensuring compliance with contracts and quality standards.
– Evaluate market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
– Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and prepare reports on purchasing metrics.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
– Must be Saudi national.
– 3+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in paper manufacturing or recycling sectors.
– Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and achieve favourable outcomes.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
– Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Knowledge of sustainability practices and commitment to environmental initiatives.
– Ability to analyse data and market trends to make informed decisions.
