The forum focuses on strategies for reducing poverty and enhancing gender equality while strengthening the capacity to adapt to climate change. Interested applicants must submit a one-page proposal presenting innovative solutions to support the poor in adapting to the impacts of climate change, under the following topics:
- Community Infrastructure: What strategies can be implemented to improve infrastructure in urban areas to increase the resilience of communities, especially poor and marginalized women, against climate change? How can these solutions be inclusive and effective?
- Urban Social Systems: How can urban social systems be enhanced to support poor and vulnerable women in adapting to climate change? What interventions can be applied to ensure these women are not left behind?
- Digital Financial Services: In what ways can digital financial services contribute to enhancing women’s resilience to climate changes? How can these tools be made accessible and effective for women in deprived communities?
- Women’s Access to Finance and Entrepreneurship: What strategies or business models can be developed to support female entrepreneurs in enhancing their resilience to climate change and ensuring the financial sustainability of their projects
