Gates Cambridge Scholarship 2025 (Fully Funded)
Gates Cambridge Scholarship
The Gates Cambridge Scholarship for the academic year 2025-2026 is a fully funded scholarship for international students.
It is offered for Master’s and PhD studies and includes an annual stipend of £18,744, health insurance, up to £2,000 for academic development, and a family allowance of up to £15,612.
The Gates Cambridge Scholarship program was established in October 2000 thanks to a donation of $210 million from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to the University of Cambridge, making it the largest individual donation to a university in the United Kingdom.
In 2024, Gates Cambridge will award 80 full-cost scholarships to exceptional candidates from outside the United Kingdom to pursue full-time postgraduate degrees in any available subject at the University of Cambridge.
About two-thirds of these awards will be allocated to PhD students, with about 25 scholarships available in the US round and 55 scholarships in the international round.
