Acceptance criteria
- You have a Master’s degree in a related field such as peace and conflict studies, political science, international relations or similar.
- You have the first relevant work experience.
- Furthermore, you can actually gain experience communicating remotely and collaborating with a culturally diverse team and stakeholders.
- Excellent oral and written language skills in English and Arabic.
- Professional skills in using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Teams) Complete your profile.
Responsibilities:
- You are part of the project implementation, meaning: actively plan and participate in project-related activities and events
- You contribute to the development of concept notes and project applications
- You conduct background research and prepare materials (e.g. briefings, PPT, handbooks)
- You are responsible for event organisation and communication with participants in collaboration with Finance Managers and the Logistics Officer (including flight and hotel bookings, contracting of service providers, collecting and preparing use evidence and other administrative tasks related directly to project activities)
- You are co-responsible for donor reporting ensuring internal & external guidelines are met
- You are co-responsible for the communication towards project partners/stakeholders/participants
- You co-decide on project expenditures within project frameworks
- Travel to the MENA region
