Role Overview
As an IT Audit Associate, you will execute assurance and testing procedures for a diverse client portfolio. You’ll work with cross-functional engagement teams, rotate across projects, and develop expertise in IT risk assessment, automated/application controls, general IT controls (GITCs), interface controls, and system-generated reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform fieldwork: IT risk assessment; testing of application controls, GITCs (apps, OS, databases), interface controls, and system-generated reports; document risk mitigation procedures; prepare reports.
- Communicate issues and findings to senior team members and client stakeholders.
- Deliver high-quality client service aligned with Deloitte policies and professional standards.
- Manage multiple concurrent engagements across industries and report status to seniors.
- Build strong client relationships and manage expectations.
- Support cybersecurity assessments, information security reviews, and business continuity evaluations.

Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Business Computing, or Management Information Systems.
- CISA or relevant certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of auditing techniques and/or technology control environments, ideally in Financial Services.
- Ability to plan and manage fieldwork; meet scope, quality, and deadlines.
- Experience testing GITCs across applications, operating systems, and databases; report testing is a plus.
- 0–2 years in technology or related fields.
- Competence in identifying/testing mitigating or compensating controls.
- Clear, articulate communicator; collaborative team player focused on outcomes.
- Willingness to work extended hours to meet client needs.
- Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills and basic data analysis understanding.
- Works well under pressure; strong research ability.
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
