Applications are now open for the KNB Indonesian Government Scholarship 2025-26 in Indonesia. This fully funded scholarship is available to international students from around the world who are interested in pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degrees in Indonesia. The scholarship, initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, is part of the Kemitraan Negara Berkembang (KNB) Scholarship program and is offered for the academic year 2025-2026.

The Government of Indonesia will cover all expenses for the KNB Indonesia Scholarship, allowing students to study abroad in Indonesia. The scholarship is open to undergraduate and master’s degree programs in fields such as Humanities, Engineering, Science, Education, and Social Science.

The KNB Scholarship is available for all academic fields and majors for international students. The duration of the scholarship is 8 semesters for Bachelor’s degrees and 24 months (4 semesters) for Master’s degrees.

Financial Benefits of KNB Indonesian Government Scholarship

The KNB Indonesian Government Scholarship 2025-26 in Indonesia offers fully funded scholarships that cover all expenses for international students. Below are the details:

A settlement allowance of IDR 1,500,000 will be provided to new students upon their arrival in Indonesia.
While participating in the Indonesian language course and preparatory programs, the new students will receive a monthly living allowance and book allowance.
During the academic program, KNB students will receive a monthly allowance that includes living allowance and allowances for research and books.
Health insurance will be provided with a maximum monthly premium of IDR 400,000. Should medical costs exceed the coverage provided by the insurance, the student will be responsible for the difference.
A round-trip international airfare (economy class) from the student’s home country’s international airport to Indonesia is included, along with local transportation to the host university.

Indonesian Language Course and Master Preparatory Program: Maximum of 12 months.

Eligibility Criteria For KNB Indonesian Government Scholarship

To apply for the KNB Indonesian Government Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

The maximum age limit to apply for the scholarship is 35 years old.
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree (individuals with a master’s degree are not eligible to apply).
Applicants must have a TOEFL, IELTS, or another certified English Proficiency Test score of at least 80 or 6.0 or equivalent.
Applicants must complete the online application form.
Prior to departure to Indonesia, successful candidates must sign the Statement Letter and Scholarship Agreement prepared by the KNB Scholarship management.
