Activities and Learning Opportunities
The activities include non-formal education methods, outdoor events, and visual presentations. Volunteers will gain hands-on experience in project development, particularly for young people with fewer opportunities. They will also discuss and address challenges encountered during project implementation and develop skills in quality management. This long-term volunteering opportunity spans six months.
Accommodation, Food, and Transportation
- Accommodation: Volunteers will share a room with 2-3 others and live with a group of 3-4 volunteers from different countries. The accommodation includes essential facilities such as a bathroom, kitchen with utensils (pots, plates, etc.), living room, washing machine, hot water, and heating (radiators). Towels, blankets, pillows, and bed linens will be provided. Wi-Fi is available both at the accommodation and at the center (IT classes).
- Food: A fixed amount of money will be provided for food expenses.
- Transport Arrangements: Volunteers will commute on foot from their accommodation to the office.
Training and Development
Participants will benefit from on-arrival training sessions organized by the Turkish National Agency, if available, during their stay. The organization will also provide language courses and include volunteers in its training programs and workshops. These activities aim to enhance their skills and deepen their engagement with the community.
