Rotary Peace Fellowship Program 

Applications for the Rotary Peace Fellowship have opened for the 2025-26 academic year. Annually, Rotary offers up to 130 fully-funded fellowships to committed leaders from around the world to study at one of its Peace Centers.
This opportunity includes master’s degree programs and a professional development certificate. International applicants can pursue a master’s program in Australia, England, the USA, Japan, or Sweden. Certificate programs are also available in Thailand and Uganda.

The program offers 50 fellowships for the master’s degree program and 80 fellowships for the certificate program.
These fellowships cover all tuition and fees, housing and food, round-trip transportation, as well as all training and field study costs.

Available Fellowships

Master’s Degree Program

The Master’s program is offered to candidates with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and who possess practical experience in the field of peace and development.

The Master’s program lasts from 5 to 24 months, plus a period of two to three months for field study.

Duration of Fellowship:

Rotary Master’s Degree Fellowship: 15 to 24 months.
Professional Development Certificate Program: One-Year.

Eligibility Criteria for a Master’s Degree Fellowship

  • The candidate should be academically strong.
  • Has a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Work experience of 3 years.
  • Have the potential for leadership
  • Must have a gap of at least three years between the completion of their most recent academic degree program (undergraduate or graduate degree) and their intended start date for the fellowship.

  • The candidate should be a mid-career peace and development leader.
  • Has a bachelor’s degree.
  • Work experience of 5 years.
  • Have the leadership potential.
  • Must have a gap of at least three years between the completion of their most recent academic degree program (undergraduate or graduate degree) and their intended start date for the fellowship.

Note: Active Rotary members, employees of the Rotary Club, Rotary International, or other Rotary entities are ineligible for the Rotary Peace Fellowship.
