Academic Degrees Available
- Higher Bachelor’s Degree (Second BA): For applicants already holding a Bachelor’s degree, with a duration of two years.
- One-Year Master’s Degree: Covers MSc, MSt, BCL, MPP, followed by an optional second one-year Master’s degree.
- Two-Year Master’s Degree: Includes MPhil, BPhil, primarily through coursework and a two-year research Master’s.
- Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil): Typically lasting 3-4 years. Direct applications to the DPhil are available for students in medical sciences, mathematics, physical sciences, and life sciences without needing a Master’s degree. Social sciences and humanities require a Master’s degree prior to applying for a DPhil.

The Rhodes Scholarship covers all tuition and registration fees at the University of Oxford. Additionally, it includes:

Note: The stipend is sufficient for a single individual. Doctoral candidates are encouraged to seek additional funding for the fourth year if necessary.

Eligibility Criteria of Oxford University Scholarship
- Applicants must not be older than 27 years by October 2024 and must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree by October 2023.
- A First Class Honours degree or equivalent is required, with a minimum GPA of 3.7/4. Specific grade requirements by country can be found [here].
- English Language Proficiency:
- Standard Level Requirement: IELTS Academic: 7.0 overall, 6.5 per component; TOEFL iBT: 100 overall; C1 Advanced: 185 overall, 176 per component.
- Higher Level Requirement: IELTS Academic: 7.5 overall, 7.0 per component; TOEFL iBT: 110 overall; C1 Advanced: 191 overall, 185 per component.
